Picnic Yarn Tasting!

Be one of the first knitters in the NATION to see and touch some of Berroco's newest yarns and garments for fall! Linda, our sales rep, will be joining us, giving us a sneak peek of Berroco's fall line up.  During the course of the evening, you will have the opportunity to indulge in four of Berroco's fantastic yarns, including two that are not even on the shelf yet. 

 

And of course, you can't have a picnic without food! So along with each course of yarn, you'll be sampling a picnic-style tidbit of food too. 

 

Come ready to knit with a variety of needle sizes, from sport weight to bulky. Your cost to participate is $20, but you'll receive $10 in credit to be used towards your purchase that night.

Join us for a Three Course Yarn Tasting party with Dream In Color!

This fun event will be on March 15th, from 6p - 8p.  Each "course" will consist of a mini skein of one of Dream In Color's worsted weight yarns to play with, and a snack to taste.  Dream In Color's sales rep, Isabel, will be joining us, bringing her color cards and a variety of lace-to-fingering weight yarns for you to buy THAT NIGHT.  Come ready to knit with a variety of needles for worsted weight yarn.  Your cost to participate is $15, but you'll receive $10 in credit to be used towards your purchase that night.  

But our real purpose for this party is to help you pick out your yarn and color of choice for YG's next KAL.  This time, the KAL options are wide open, with only two constraints.  Your project has to be a sweater, and you will be using a worsted weight yarn.  Bring your own pattern, or be inspired by one of YG's picks.  We're planning on starting on April 6th, and we'll be continuing our first and third Saturday morning meetings.  There is limited availability for this event... so stop in soon to reserve your spot!
